6th weekend had a Highland theme. There were plenty of Scotts, Scotts-wannabees, hearty players and appropriate overcast skies and moderate autumn temps. After 32 seasons, the faire still manages to create quite an impression on visitors as some fine folk from Maryland can attest to. Perhaps what amazes me personally that after 11 years I can still find fun and interesting things to photograph.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

Thought this was wonderfully macabre

No shortage of pretties

Again the fantasy element is strong

Now I really could not pass this up

A member of Cantiga

An atypical moment of whimsey from Owain Phyfe

Hmm now what's going one here

Patrons partaking in a nobb-I mean Hunky Knees contest

Talk about wanting to stand out

Now this guy had some wicked facepaint

Ash, she's just a bit of ambrosia

This fairy's just a shy coquette

Titania taking advantage of the height

A good pitch

Sound and Fury also returned for a full run

Alway a fun trio of fellows
