2004 marks the 30th anniversary of the largest faire in the country. The place was as big and grand as ever. Sadly the weekend was also stormy, wet and muggy. I literally raced stormed clouds throughout that weekend. Despite that, I managed to capture several images. For some reason a lot of what I archived were a lot of festive reveling and dancing. Go figure.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

Adrian doing a dance demo

It's suppose to be a highland fling

That's better

Wait, still not right

Some of the men decide to show him how it's done, to the delight of the women

The lassies take over

and the men are happy to concede

Intiating a waltz

but far from alone

A display of skill with the hard shoes

The gents conduct a sword dance

It was one of the higlights

Here's soemthing a little different

The one in the middle is on the earthy side
