2004 marks the 30th anniversary of the largest faire in the country. The place was as big and grand as ever. Sadly the weekend was also stormy, wet and muggy. I literally raced stormed clouds throughout that weekend. Despite that, I managed to capture several images. For some reason a lot of what I archived were a lot of festive reveling and dancing. Go figure.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

Plenty of crafters

I see more of these performers lately

Nothing like a good gimmick

Of course we have the fairy ensemble

Not to mention s hardy band of Scotsmen

And a mudman bringing up the rear

Thought this fellow had a distinctive helmet

A little roving romance

Well this caught my eye about 50 feet away

Elvis, one of the more striking presence

The fairy court initiating some revels

Others join in at the maypole

Will seems to be having some throat problems

There are plenty of games in Sherwood Forest

Singers from the St. Agnes Academy

The lads performing a special number
