Texas Renaissance Festival's Official Website .I attended the opening weekend of the 29th season of the Texas Renaissance Festival. The weather good and opening day and weekend had record crowds.
The era is King henry and his Queen Katherine of Aragon. They are holding a tournament of champions where the winning knight will be crowned royal champion and oversee the King's forces. As always George added new elements to the the site
including a new look to the joust arena and the greek area.

 An asian-esque fight occurs |
 He's the king of the world |
 They crash on the Isle of Lesbos |
 He battles the one-eyed monster |
 And later expunges Queen Hernia |
 But there is tragedy all around |
 ...as well as plenty of merchandising |
