06-20-03 It came and went quickly. But, I guess when there's a wedding around the corner, it will do that. The final three pages of the second update have been posted. I hope you enjoy them, and we'll see you again in Lyon next year. 05-27-03 When this week's update is complete it will be four pages in total (or 67 images). Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to Lyon for the year even though the village festival will be held for two more weekends. 05-19-03 In a whirlwind adventure, Andrea, I, and Captain Sin Jin Hawk made the decision to travel to Lyon for opening day of the festival season. Despite the lack of time due to the nuptial ceremony of Andrea and myself, the adventure was a blast. As always, it was great to see the familiar faces of friends in Lyon. Between last season and this season, the faire has been impressively developed. There are now more permanant structures, my personal favorite is "X Marques the Spot". There are also many more villagers to be found roaming the streets of this village. As for the image gallery associated with this one day foray, I'm reminded of how the Roost, here, began: one simple page of images from the Greater St. Louis Renaissance Faire four years ago. In that spirit, simplicity will hopefully display the improvements that have been made since then. Anon and good days, |
