The third season of St. Louis is now over... and what a run it was. The newish faire is growing and attendence records are reflecting that growth. In talking with many travellers from other faires, the operative word for the St. Louis faire is "potential." We recognized this potential three years ago, and have been back every year since. With this installment of Robyn's Roost faire images, I spent more time taking pictures of friends and familiar acts. One of those acts is the highly motivated and dear friends of the Caravan Gypsies. Another group of images highlights Rickles, the Pickle Fool partaking in a scenario skit with Captain Caspian Jack Oceaneous and King Francois' Chief Justice. Of course, other familiar faces include friends from a number of states enjoying the revels of the faire. Then there's Gabriel, my partner in cr... er... journies, whom we had arrested. His terms of release were to wag his bum and profess his undying love for the Chief Justice's cousin, Mirabella. Yeah, we're cruel friends to each other, but friends nonetheless.
