The Greater St. Louis Renaissance Faire began its third season with the most incredibly weather any faire could ask for. Blue skies and temperatures in the low seventies make for an ideal mug filling setting. And, of course, the company of the cast, staff, volunteer, and vending folks at the St. Louis faire are always sure to leave everyone feeling warm. The faire is growing. There are now more stages and more paths cut through the beautiful wooded area that comprises the faire grounds. Once special new addition, which is still under construction, is the new Rogue's stage formed in the shape of a ship. It was good to see many familiar faces of performing groups such as The Caravan Gypsies, Elvendrums, and Wild Mountain Thyme. There were quite a few new acts as well. Unfortunately for me, because of the growth, its becoming more difficult to capture enough images to present the entire faire. Of course, that means it's all that much better to visit!

For information regarding the faire, check out the Greater St. Louis Renaissance Faire's Official Website.
