7-18-05 My second wave of fun and nutty shots from the 2nd weekend of faire. Enjoy, I know I did. 7-16-05 Here are several images from the Sterling Renaissance Festival in upperstate New York. I attended the first 2 weekends and had an fine time with near ideal weather. As always I walked away from a new faire with a number of impressions. 1) Serene is the word that immediately comes to mind with a good percentage of the land left undistrubed 2) This is an event that has little hawking allowed and performer merchandise is sold at the souvenir shop outside the gates 3) The smaller size cast actively and assertively work the lanes all day long 4) Their Pub Sing draws a gigantic, enthusiastic crowd 5) Even a huge opening day crowd can't seem to break the air of peace of this faire 6) It is possible to have too much cake 7) I admire how Stiltwalker Gabriel Q manages this very hilly terrain 8) You REALLY don't want to break the law in this shire Enjoy and good days to all, |
