6-26-09                Wow I'm done. All the pics are up.                With all these major milestones of the Roost having come up, I realized I just finished out my 15th season of attending Scarborough out of almost 20 seasons of playing at faire (I'm old).                It makes me think about the scores of memories I have accumulated from this place. Watching cast members from faire form and evolve into great acts like the Corsairs, Queen Anne's Lace, Cut Thrust And Run & Motley Players III. I think how there's no faire in the country to fully experience the Rogues than at Scarby with the original roguettes (& drunken irishman) backing them up. It's amazing that something like court dance can turn into an extremely popular event. Or how wonderful that the Royal Guard and Queen Margaret's court gives us patrons a chance to be part of the fun in our own small way. I've developed many connections both crafters and participants and have felt very pleased that I have carved out a little niche for myself in this place. I hope to keep coming back for many years to come. 6-19-09                Part 4 is up. I'm getting close to finally being done 6-14-09                Whew! Part 3 is finally up. Only 2 more postings to go. 6-3-09                Part 2 posting is the Saturday Chess Match to please those who love plenty of rock and sock em action 5-31-09                Part 1 of 5 of closing weekend of faire. There's a lot more coming. So strap yourselves in 4-16-09                Part 2 of opening day images from the faire 4-9-09                That time again for opening weekend of my home faire of Scarborough. It's easy to forget how much the people of this faire have come to mean to me. Like all good friends, they make this event happen for me. Here's the first half of a big batch of images. Enjoy and good days to all, |
