Scarborough Renaissance Faire's Official Website .Time again for Scarborough’s human chessmatch where many of the folk play as pieces for the amusement of the King and Queen. Charles Brandon is overseeing the white pieces while Anne and Henry oversee the black pieces.
The battles can be to 3 touches or to the blood as usual with an occasional unforeseen twist. Here we have the Saturday extravanganza. The black team has got some irate eastern Euro nobility itching for any kind of fight.
And we still get a foray or two into the Outer Limits.
