It was opening weekend for the 2008 season Scarborough Faire. No snow this year. Part of me was a bit sad about that. The sight of such anomalies are always very welcoming. Anyway the weekend was actually near ideal in temperament. There were a few new things and as always I ran into old acquaintences and met new people. Took much higher number of pics than normal for the time of the run. I was running that strong on enthusiasm. To the point of exhaustion as I discovered by Sunday's end. Luckily that's 1 of the few perks of using a digital. It was still going.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

The latest in taking down supernatural prey

You can find this fellow in Hollyfield

Any guesses what he's hawking

Came across this fine lady

Lovely details

On the streets you can find brawls involving the men of Nature of Mercy

Is it right for them to involve young children?

The tykes don't seem to have any problems with it

A special lesson in honor and compassion

Nice to have one's own familiar

Some trolling vistors

Good to be the king

Amazing how drawn the little ones are

Ercole de Este II
