It was opening weekend for the 2008 season Scarborough Faire. No snow this year. Part of me was a bit sad about that. The sight of such anomalies are always very welcoming. Anyway the weekend was actually near ideal in temperament. There were a few new things and as always I ran into old acquaintences and met new people. Took much higher number of pics than normal for the time of the run. I was running that strong on enthusiasm. To the point of exhaustion as I discovered by Sunday's end. Luckily that's 1 of the few perks of using a digital. It was still going.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

A striking member of the Royal Guard

The helm seriously rocks!

Latimer and Paddy overseeing the incoming flux

The Queen stops to give out improtant lessons for the day

When she speaks, people listen-they better

A little play outside East Winds Games

Rosie McCann and Joshua Jenkins, formerly the Starboard Watch

aka Random, I mean, Rambling Sailors

New on the schedule is Michael O'Quinn

He can be found at the King's Pub & the Sea Hag

A sporty Magnus, monster hunter

I wonder if this is from his latest kill.
