Scarborough’s human chessmatch where various town denizens play as pieces of a battle between the King and Queen. Charles Brandon calls out for Henry, Lord Derby calls for Anne. The battles can be to 3 touches or to the blood with proxies called by a player. Again we seem to have a different set of battles for each day. Oddly enough it’s more like a contrafactual sort of combat. Like a step into the Twilight Zone, or Sliding Doors, the scenarios diverge down alternate paths, battles and outcomes.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby
