Ah closing day. It was a total mudbowl affair. And thin splattery mud at that. It did not deter people fom coming out. And I am talking regular patrons not just hard core fans. Even a dirty day like this could not dampen the dignity of the annual honoring of vets on this holiday. Such conditions also lead to 1 of the most memorable chessmatches.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

As you can see, it was a tough call

This was actually the cleanest fight there. That's okay they'll get dirty later

Paddy taking on a threesome...of foes

It gets interesting

After they gang up

Let's see: 2 lovely girls and a big pile fo mud

Seems like a winning recipe

Hmm those ladies got awfully stocky

...8, 9, 10...and we have a winner!

For a lovelier you

Again the crowds scream "Mud! Mud! Mud!"

After some spankings, Delia takes pity on her

Someone decides to make love and not war

Everyone else gets caught in a free for all

The Corsairs join QAL and sing Sitting on the Dock of The Bay

And yes it was that rainy, dark and hazy
