Ah closing day. It was a total mudbowl affair. And thin splattery mud at that. It did not deter people fom coming out. And I am talking regular patrons not just
hard core fans. Even a dirty day like this could not dampen the dignity of the annual honoring of vets on this holiday. Such conditions also lead to 1 of the most memorable chessmatches.
