The fair this weekend was a test of stamina. Stamina to cover many rapid fire acts and folk. Stamina to cover the food and drinks. But mostly stamina to endure the incredible humidity that followed the worse set of torrential rainstorms that hit the area all year. Lands and cities were flooded. Power was lost. Made Chessmatch a major challenge. And this year there were 2 different matches-1 each day.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

Okay but not for long

Paddy yields before this shave gets any closer

Mumsey tries her luck against the noble savage

Someone wasn't quite so lucky

The King's got a full plate today

Matching steel with Sir Percival

Another victory

Gertrude tries her hand at the King and almost wins

Except she forgot they're going for a blood draw

Now for Latimer

Thrust, Dodge, Parry

Blood!

Okay Two-Hawks, kill king

Ooh, lots of stamina

Magnus yields the square and the game

in the name of his hair
