The fair this weekend was a test of stamina. Stamina to cover many rapid fire acts and folk. Stamina to cover the food and drinks. But mostly stamina to endure the incredible humidity that followed the worse set of torrential rainstorms that hit the area all year. Lands and cities were flooded. Power was lost. Made Chessmatch a major challenge. And this year there were 2 different matches-1 each day.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

A aptron that got a lot of notice

The Spanish fleet is in

Will working the crowd

Along with some jester-ly warmups

Our crier initiates his duties

Lo and behold in time for Cinqo de Mayo, the King of Espana

And his madcap Queen Juana

All is well but where's the King to greet them?

Oh there he is. What's he doing down there?

The Queen would like to know that too, not to mention the entire night.

Hmmm, looks like Henry is a wee bit too tired to discuss his pub activities

Claiming this area for Spain

The fierce secret weapon of the Spaniards

Discussing some business dealings for that weapon

But the English have their own secret weapon

Assuming they can afford the price
