2005 kicks off the 25th anniversary of the faire. The weekend was an energy packed time filled with huge crowds, good friends and great fun. This season is full of new things and many changes and several new garbs. It seems black is the new black, pearls are all the rage and a divinely saturated atmosphere permeate the days.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

A little socializing before gate...

during a peppy morning

Donk and Will Somers look

while issues are put into contest

English takes German

Count Phalange makes some strong accusations

Seems a woman's been impersonating a priest

The Archbishop joins the discourse

Things are not looking good

Some timely intervention

Will Kemp thinks someone else is an imposter

...and a bottle of rum

Sabine sporting blue

Well it's not the first beast they've encountered

A new green for Queen Margaret
