Scarborough Renaissance Festival 2005 |

6-3-05 8th and final weekend went out with a bang! It was pleasant, tiring, muddy and rich with happenstances and old acquaintences. Of course I look back to things that piqued in my mind fromt his past season. 1) It's great to know that my favorite group the Corsairs are still going strong as they kicked off their 10th season 2) A certain member of court, who shall remain nameless, has delicate fingers :) 3) It seems water balloons are the surest for a ren act to make money 4) The faire got a wonderful new act in Susan Hickey (aka Rosie Peaseblossom). She is an engaging performer with a kickass voice 5) It's really amazing how some regular patrons are willing to endure horrible weather to experience faire 6) A lot of people at faire this season seem to want to wear antennae 7) I saw a lot of men this season wearing women's garb or inquring about it 8) There's more than 1 way to dredge a lake 9) I like many others miss Jeff, Mayhem, Thompson 5-18-05 6th weekend started out rough and muggy, but got better, thanks to quite a few nice surprises 5-5-05 Despite some early signs of freezing rain and hail, the weekend turnout to be fun and festive 4-20-05 Second weekend of faire was a full and rich one. Enjoy 4-13-05 The opening of the silver anniversary of the faire commenced to great fanfare and great crowds. It was a fun weekend that could not even be spoiled by precarious weather threatening over Enjoy and good days to all, |
