Closing weekend for faire was quite the fun time. Crazed, but fun. texas summer has finally come with 90+ degree weather. We had similar bright and cloudy wather as the week before, only less breezy. It got a little more humid with the threat of rain. It only made good that threat at the end of closing day and only around the faire site! It was a little odd with last day ending on memorial day for the first time. We had the typical visiting cast from several faires including Minnesota, Kansas City, Muskogee and I think even Colorado. Overall fewer guests bur more diversity. Despite three days of being pulled in different directions, I had lots of good chaotic fun and was sorry it was over. I managed a huge calvacade of images. A lot more than I expected.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

Cardinal Don Antonio Dela Noche being gallant to these ladies

I don't think that's a standard prayer position

The Shantyman doing his late set at the White Horse Pub

An intimate place where all sorts of things can happen

Like an assault by Christophe

Bard O'Neil leads her own event at the King's Pub

The Tarts doing a little promoting and encouragement

The post closing gate show of the Rogues

It's quite the gathering

A drummer in training

There's lots of dancing by cast

and friends

It's the best time to see them

A few "nautical" types would concur

Seems Excalibur is on tour

Lord Lacklore from Muskogee is quite the friendly fellow
