Closing weekend for faire was quite the fun time. Crazed, but fun. texas summer has finally come with 90+ degree weather. We had similar bright and cloudy wather as the week before, only less breezy. It got a little more humid with the threat of rain. It only made good that threat at the end of closing day and only around the faire site! It was a little odd with last day ending on memorial day for the first time. We had the typical visiting cast from several faires including Minnesota, Kansas City, Muskogee and I think even Colorado. Overall fewer guests bur more diversity. Despite three days of being pulled in different directions, I had lots of good chaotic fun and was sorry it was over. I managed a huge calvacade of images. A lot more than I expected.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

Those lances are solid. This one went flying right by us.

Making an appearance were the captivating Sirens' Song. They have a marvelous new CD.

They had some local accompaniment

This is Goethe & Gunther von Der Dudelschlaeger.

I don't know who is which but I had to get the flags too

One more. Ain't they a riot?

Queen's Gambit singing for the magistrate and my friend Rick

The Burly Minstrel singing with QAL

Later they perform an African lullaby with Leza, the Moor of Dundee

Delia singing "What'll I Do?" to me & Bill. We both had requested the song. Thanks to Clay for the shot.
