Third weekend of Scarborough was another adventurous weekend. By that I mean it was an adventure to get through it. It was suppose to be Scottish Weekend but there was a litle too much Scottish weather to go with it. It rained heavily on Saturday in the Texas area and most of the night. I myself didn't trek up there until Sunday. I was greeted not only by cast but by mud pits, marshy areas and then later a bright muggy day when the sun finally broke. Surprisingly and luckily people still came in respectable numbers to brave the trenches and a pretty good time was had in spite of it.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

Mary trying out something more regal

Queen Anne's Lace always provides a nice atmosphere in the morning

You can tell how entrenched the cast was this weekend

Visitng from the midwest, Larry & Denise. Larry is sporting this great garb from Felix Needleworthy

The bright sun came out in time for the parade

The local ragman ahead of the crafter line

The Troll. He got quite the abode

She threatened to hug people if they didn't wave

The Welsh contigent

One day I might get a shot of the whole Scottish group and not just half

And there's always that special guard coming up the rear

No shortage of warriors in this parade

Scatch at it as always in the lanes

Talk about 1 of your development properties

There were highland games of course

The deep mud and saturating rain gave it a wee bit more challenge
