It's the start of season 24 at Scarborough Faire and 2 words can sum up the weekend: Green and Gray. Green because there was a lot of remodeling and terraforming of the grounds with lots of new foliage, sodded grass and shrubbery. The site is quite the different place from the one of the 90s. And gray because of the onset of dark clouds, the steady amounts of rain, the perpetually damp air, 25 mph winds and the drop in temperature. Saturday morning started bright, warm and in the 70's and by Easter Sunday, it was dark, chilly and barely cracked 50. Still it was a decent opening weekend with fun moments with acts old and new and scores of familar faces.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

Things still seem tense in Verona

Perfect place for

star-crossed lovers

to end repulsively

A new bellydance troupe

Different but amusing

The noon time court dance near the front gate

The magristrate escorting some lovely ladies during parade

You can always find here the local Musketeers of Texas

Grafina Natashia Anastasia Bogoslavsky posing with Seymour

Sherrif Blood presenting a floral cache

His majesty passes them amongst the peoples

But those flowers might be part of some villainy

And for once Edward Seymour is not the cause

There plenty of trouble about as well concerning abused beer

The royal couple w/ the King in his new garb
