QAR 1   -   QAR 2   -   QAR 3

As I stated earlier, my favorite act at Scarborough is the Corsairs. They are a talented group of singing pirates who have developed an exceptional, breathtaking sound and a crazed sense of humor. There are some really funny and twisted things that can happen in their show. They're also a pretty cool bunch of guys. Another group I've grown fond of is Queen Anne's Lace (QAL). They are vocally the female counterpart to the Corsairs and also have an amazing sound. Despite the sound of their name, QAL is a hard act to categorize. They do a very broad range of material including transcendent spiritual pieces, bawdy numbers and even cool original stuff. They also occasionally put their own twisted spin on a song during their show. Both acts are very enjoyable and at the end of the day they combine their talents to perdform a special show under the heading of Queen Anne's Revenge. That's the ship of a certain well known pirate. Anyway, below are a number of images representative of the two acts.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby
