Renaissance Pleasure Faire of Southern California 2006 |

05-16-06 Finally got the final batch of my Southern pics. They focus on 3 groups that have a naughty bent. A few final thoughts on the faire. 1) The Santa Fe Dam Park makes a marvelous site for faire. Ample parking, close to LA and a nice view of a body of water 2) There was an excellent of old and new acts. Combined that will the faire's guilds and you have a fun show the patrons can really respond to 3) People seem to take well to the faire. Good crowds on saturday, better crowds Sunday. Not bad for a 40+ year old institution 4) The faire's Battle Pageant is a neat piece of staged violence. 5) Rogue's Reef manages to be as a bastion of raciness as ever. While this type of show is not always to my taste, it is good a distinctive staple of this faire maintains itself. 05-15-06 Part 2 of my images from the Southern Ren faire.
