In the afternoon, the Queen arrives in town and travels about with a grand procression, befitting one of her station. She eventually ends up at the Maybower stage where she formally greets the citizens and local dignitaries. It can be a grand time but not without some minor drama.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby

Hers wasn't the only special gift he ruined

A puppet show gone wild. Their death scenes were not hard to act out.

Things get kind of ugly

A little too ugly

The Spanish Ambassador comes to air his complaints against Drake

Sir Martin Frobisher, Lord Derby & Sir Christopher all wish to champion her

Sir Martin is selected

They fight intensely

across the whole stage

as in any good script

Drake stops things from going too far

Elizabeth delivers her own sharp rebute

On a lighter note, she greets the Bard

He demonstartes his skills with the help of an audience member

His poetry appears effective

Derby takes the time to entreat the Queen to take a husband

She doesn't take too kindly to the suggestion much to Sir Christopher's delight

She waits for a final presentation without Derby

A final song to her Majesty

A few last parting words
