What's up with these images? Here's the deal, I knew I wanted to take some video shots of the night. I also knew I wanted to have fun. So, for encumberence sake, I only brought along my camcorder. Besides, I've been so disgruntled with my camera in low-light conditions, I figured it would be a nifty idea to use the camcorder's night-shot feature and not have to worry. Between the washed-out, infared coloration and the making still images from video, I don't know if I'm any happier with the quality. Nonetheless, these are what I got.
The night was great. Krys and I were "dates" for the evening and started with dinner and our Friday night pub night hang-out, Brewmater's. After that we went back a couple hundred years to the Renaissance gala Norby and Angie Lopez were having. From there we stopped by my mother's workplace where her and my father, for some strange reason, were painting her office. Over to Baker's Street for a little dancing -- very little since the midnight hour was approaching rapidly and we had yet to stop by another friend's house. I really shouldn't say "friend," because Dave Kaley and his siblings are more family to me than anyone I know. The clock struck 12, Krys and I had mucho champagne, over to Baker's Street to dance a little more and close the place. Finally, we winded down around five in the morning over at Norby and Angie's casa. It certainly was a festive night.
