I wasn't really certain where to place this gallery. I suppose since it was a campout attended by Friends of Bristol Faire, this is the best place for it. Sometime during middle of the season, Gypsy Krystal thought it would be a grand idea to get as many people together for an Autumn camp outing as possible. On the weekend of October 9th and 10th, it happened out at the Bong State Recreation Area. Though there were many visitors, I believe the count was at twenty-six for those who actually spent the night at the site. For me it was a fun event that was a good respite from my hectic fall schedule of student teaching. Since the overall numbers of campers and visitors was somewhere between thirty and forty, the overwhelming opinion was that this should be an annual event. If you missed it this year, it'll happen again... bigger and better!
Since I was using a new camera and a slightly different model than the one I used all summer, I'm finding I'm not as pleased with the quality of the images. Of course, a wee bit of ale, the darkness, and my being out of practice might have had something to do with that. Unfortunately, some of the shots I remember taking did not turn out; however, the video I took captures most of those that showed. I'll be working on editing that when I have a free day.
