2008 brought about the 2nd annual Maker Faire in Austin, Texas that celebrates and shares creativity and the do-it-yourself spirit.
A broad range of crafters, artists and inventors from around the country descended on the weekend to promote their ingenuity. This was quite the energetic event that touched my inner child as I
saw waves of robots, re-worked clothes, rolling insects, legos galore and some rather novel ice cream.
The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby
