I attended a very worthwhile event this past Sunday evening produced by the Austin Browncoats. They have an annual charity fundraiser celebrating the inner and not-so-inner geek. There was a nice mix of games new and nostalgic, amateur "talents" and a fine filking guest performer. This all occurred at a nice little nightspot in downtown Austin. More importantly the proceeds went to SafePlace, an organization whose goal is to help end domestic and sexual violence

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby
