For the 6th year in a row, the convention held its Saturday morning parade in the streets of downtown Atlanta. It consists solely of registered participants and some select guests to serve as marshalls.
Now normally I do not care for parades, but I do enjoy participating in this one. It's a great chance for those who come to DragonCon to show off a special costume they've worked hard on. It's also a great chance for me to photograph many fun outfits
and socialize in an guarenteed fun setting . The people are typically gouped together in well over a dozen themes. This year there was over 1500 people who signed up for be in this event.
The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby
