Friday was the first full official day. Definitely more people than last year which is not surprising. The weather was better with a heatwave having broken. People did not
waste time apearing in a wide variety of costumes. and they started lining up to meet many of the guests at the Walk of Fame. The big event for me this day was the evening costume contest. Unlike the more theatrical Masquerade, it
was a contest solely based on the construction and quality of the outfit. My roommate Rick, pal Dave and I entered wearing a unique idea constructed by Rick.
