On Thanksgiving weekend, my friends and I spent the day in downtown Austin watching the 16th annual Chuy's holiday parade which is used to raise toys for children. A noble idea and not too shabby of an event. This was followed by the 11 annual Victorian Christmas on Sixth Street Festival. A moderate size event that had some good elements and potential to be on par with the bigger street fests. While we did find some enjoyable parts, the event still falls a little short on the christmas atmosphere and more so on the victorian.

The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby
