The first weekend of March marked the 21st annual North Texas Irish Festival. It's held in Fair Park the annual site of the Texas State Fair. The event has been 1 of the largest events of its kind
in the nation-definitely the largest in the southwest. This year's fest was a little leaner. The previous 2 seasons were a little rough with the weather-heavy rains 1 years, ice and snow the other. In fact there was a debilitating ice storm just a few days prior this year.
However the event was still a good one with a fair number of pleasing acts and interesting vendors. The weather even managed to get reasonable with a little sunlight.
The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby
