On the days that the clocks get turned back (October 27, 2001), Andrea and I had a wee bit of a shin-dig at our new apartment. The plan was to meet in the afternoon for some appetizers and refreshments, and head up to Madison to flitter about on State Street. We had some rum and apple cider, and before too long, taking the forty-five minute trip was out of the question. We ended up cruising the streets of Watertown and entering a costume contest at Froggy's. Andrea and I walked away from the night $250 richer for our costumes. Originally, we meant to be ghosts of the French Revolution, but it ended up that people thought we were George and Martha Washington. C'est la vie, take the money and run.
