During the first weekend in March Dallas hosts 1 of the largest Celtic music events in the country, the North Texas Irish Festival in Fair Park, home of the Texas State Fair.
The event transpired in the Automobile building and the immediately surrounding areas.
It was a topsy-turvy and exhausting weekend. Severe rains occurred in the past several days saturating the grounds to a squishy muddy terrain. Fortunately most of the events and booths were in side.
Continuing rains on Saturday kept a lot of people away but by Sunday it was warm and sunny and the crowds emerged.
The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby
