So here it is, the trip Andrea and I took to New Orleans. We left Monday morning, August 7th and planned to be back before the Bristol faire opened the next Sunday. Currently, it's Friday, August 11th and we're on our way back. It's 5:00pm and we're still in Mississippi. Methinks we'll be awfully tired if we do make it to faire tomorrow. Anyhow, I could write lots of stuff about our adventure to the Big Easy. I'll attempt to do some of that throughout the image gallery. However, we also took quite a bit of video footage and that may be a better way to tell our tale. For now, here are the images and such!

Above are images of the St. Louis Arch (obviously). The first of the images was taken while driving along I-55 and they each get closer until the final one was standing right at the Arch. We had decided that St. Louis would be a nice place to stop during the 17 hour road trip. As a matter of fact, we initially intended to spend Monday night in St. Louis and continue our journey to New Orleans on Tuesday. When it came down to it, we simply paused for dinner in St. Louis and spent our first night in Arkansas to save on driving the next day. Though we had wanted to go to the top of the arch, we would have had to wait for two hours for the next available tram and the ride itself is an hour long. That was too much time for our overall journey... so, we simply took some silly pictures inside the museum located beneath the arch (below).
