Excalibur Fantasy Faireis a nice diversion before the bigger Texas events. Celebrating its 5th season, the faire is still mainly on tent show located on the Rocky Ranch 40 miles east of Austin, Texas.
It was a sporadically wet day but not a bad one. The show has promise and does a respectable job of presenting the people of the Arthurian legends. There were reasonable number of vendors and a decent mix of acts.
Sadly there was no afternoon joust owing to a short but potent downpour during that timeframe.
The previous description and all these wonderful images are brought to you by Frank Hui. Because of his devotion, I have nothing to add. --Robyn Sotherby
