Cotswold Renaissance Faire 2002

10-24-02

New faire in the area? Although it was a hectic time of year for me, I was able to make it out for one day and get some pictures. Pros of the faire: small, intimate setting; good place to get garbed up and share a drink with friends, lots of great music, many vendors, can't get lost, it doesn't hit 90 degrees in October (or 80 for that matter -- heck, did it even hit 70?), good weather for garb, potential to grow into a place for Autumn fun and fellowship (though I heard a rumor it might be Spring). Cons: only Bud Light in the way of ale, couldn't quite figure out the proper way to get into the event from the parking lot, needs a lot more people to come out and support the effort. Let's all fix that last one next year and plan a massive invasion.

One note about the image galleries: The thumbnail quality isn't all that great, so be sure to pop open the larger images.

        Anon and good days,
        Robyn Sotherby
