The images on these pages were taken during the eighth weekend of Bristol Renaissance Faire (Aug 14 & 15, 1999). This was one of the most beautiful weekends this season. I must say that I am so amazed by the fact that when each weekend ends, I don't think it can get any better -- and then -- WHAMO! The next weekend does indeed surpass the last. In this weeks collection I have gotten a few more shops, the Consort of Infinite Jest, scenes of the court members dancing, and other general shots. For the first time this season I also attempted to get some pictures of the Danse Macabre (typically, it is necessary to avert my eyes from their parade); unfortunately, due to their antics, it is quite difficult to really give a true sense of their presense at the end of the faire day with still shots. Again, I can't describe how much I appreciate your stopping by and all the kindness extended toward my humble efforts here. Though there is only one more weekend left, I will not shed a tear at the end of next Sunday because just as I have captured the images here, I have taken all of you into my heart and will use that fire to keep me warm during the off-season. If you will excuse one final enigmatic message: For a key, it's all for you!
