A hot challenging atmosphere underscored opening weekend to a very special season at Bristol Faire. It is the official 20th season of the festival. The faire is full of new elements this year. New shops, new acts, new settings and an exciting new theme. The faire is re-enacting its Feast of Fools celebrations. So we have an explosion of mirth, color and revelry. Even the evil Sheriff of Bristol wants in on the fun

Mistress Brandy Porter	She's got quite an earthy presence	They're a romantic pair...I guess, er, I suppose	Fools are such nutty creatures
They are always ready to	pose for an oil painting	Still nice to see hearty music at the faire	Some nice old fashion customs alive and well
This new event should prove entertaining or at least tasty	Special preparations	It's a media day reception	I wonder who's easier to spot on a foggy day
I think we have a new champion	A post-procession landing	The festivities converge here	And we got us a special guest coming
