10-16-03 Images from Douglas Keith from final weekend of the faire 09-17-03 One last round of pics from Douglas Keith. Sorry for the delay 08-14-03 Frank has posted his gallery pages from 7th weekend of Bristol including the 2 part fight cast story arc. 08-12-03 More images from Lord Keith have been posted. This time of the fifth weekend. Even though the seventh weekend has just ended, Robyn is a little behind schedule -- thank you for your patience. 07-19-03 Time is precious. Because I know the Roost has provided a service for the past five years, I'm offering a brief explanation of why I haven't been diligent in archiving the progress at the faire. I'm afraid I just have too many interests and goals that I wish to pursue, and there aren't as many days in the week as there oughta be. Also, I do not wish to become utterly redundant with the images I post from year to year. Hopefully, some fresh perspectives can keep this archive going. This is not to say that I will never be out at faire taking pictures any more, but perhaps by limiting my time out there, I'll be able to find inspiration when I choose to go. In the meantime, I'm hoping that others like Frank Hui and Douglas Kieth will help keep the archives going strong to preserve the memories for future years. I'd also like to pursue another motif within this website, but, like I said, I've got too many interests and goals. Keep stopping back to see what's new; however, there are plenty of other folks that are doing a darn fine job of weekly updates. 07-07-03 With apologies, there will be no update on the Roost this week. I didn't quite make it out to faire this past weekend to take any pictures. 06-30-03 The first weekend of Bristol has come and gone. Much too quickly; however, in the few hours I was there this weekend, I managed to get six pages of images. Two of them are solely of the final joust at Bristol. I don't believe I've ever made it down to the tilt yard at that late hour, so that's new. The rest of the images are what they always are... including some silliness. Drat, there was something else that I wanted to make a mention of, but it's escaped me at the moment. Oh-Oh-Oh, I know. Am I the only one that's a little weirded out about the voices in the flushable privies? There's something about a woman's voice chanting periodisms as I'm trying to conduct some business that's a little disconcerting. Might be just me though. 06-29-03 Preparing to begin the new season.
