Now, I know that I always say that faire weekends are beautiful weekends despite rain, heat, crabbiness, whatever; but, this past weekend really was gorgeous. The temperature was right, and, although it poured at opening and closing, I don't think I've experienced such wonderful weather at Bristol for a couple of years. Frank tells me that next weekend is supposed to be just as ideal. Unfortunately, due to some family obligations, my new bride and I were unable to make it until later in the afternoon on both days. So, I missed the new scenario sequence -- Dean tells me I'll have a chance to see it again. Hah! Of course I will. Probably again and again and again. I did catch a glimpse of Robin Hood and Friar Tuck. If I were a lass, I'd spend the next 800 words describing the dashing Robin Hood. Oh well, we're going to have to wait 'till next week for images of him. However, I did capture some images of the final joust at Bristol. I don't believe I've ever taken pictures of that before. I've also got some silly shots in here. When I think back to the first couple of years I've been doing this, I sorely miss those images. I hope you can put up with them -- 'cuz dangnabit -- I wanna have some fun this year.
