This year I got to spend a lot more time at Bristol than normal. The weather was near ideal, cooling off after a long heatwave and accomodating my vacation. Of course that seems to happen every summer I visit. Anyway this season I got to see a lot of things I've missed in the past including Broon, MooNIE the Magnificent and the Consort Bella Donna. I also got to socialize much more and meet lots of new people. I hope you enjoy the highlights below

For information regarding the faire, check out the Bristol Renaissance Faire's Official Website.

The enchanting ladies of the Consort Bella Donna. They are lovely and entertaining singers

I also enjoyed the Wit of Will Shakespeare as he gives a contempory translation of Hamlet

That superb musical act the Minstrels of Mayhem

They have a new member, fiddler Thomas Neundal

Debby showing off her new Pendragon bodice. Holly leaves were tooled by Dennis Thatcher of Thatcher Leather

That wild man performer Broon!

And yes the bowling balls are real

This is his famed straightjacket trick. He's being suspended up there by 2 patrons

His best escape time is less than 1 minute 35 seconds

Finally had to a chance to watch MooNIE the Magnificent, quite an engaging and talented silent acrobat/performer

He's a versatile and stylish performer

He often uses volunteers from the audience

This volunteer is on the eager side

Make that very eager
