'Twas a nice weekend and throngs of crowds came out to enjoy it. Nearly upon entering the gate... well, after grabbing a wee bit of cider for breakfast... I learned that the military encampment would be firing a trebuchet, which is a medieval seige weapon that acts like a catapult with a counterweight system. After seeing the firing of melons into Lake Elizabeth, Lady Andrea and I stuck around to see the musket firing demonstration which was wonderfully presented by Hauptmann Frederick Sauer (Christopher Last). We were also instructed that a Scottish contigency would be making a presentation to Queen Elizabeth at the Privy Council sometime that weekend, so we were anxious to witness that. This weekend a Puritan roamed through the shire of Bristol harrassing visitors and engaging in a contest of wits with Jack Bottoms. The cast list images are coming along nicely and will hopefully be completed in the next couple of weeks!

The pictures on this page were initially captured at a resolution of 2048 x 1536. Though they are presented by Robyn's Roost at a maximum of 640 x 480, the larger image files can be supplied for prints (does a great job at 8x10 and larger) or other things. For those I have captured a picture of, I'd be happy to supply prints via mail or other exchange for the cost of materials (printed off of an HP-970Cse). This service, of course, is intended to supply a copy of the images to the subject of the picture. Distribution for any other use (in any media format), common sense dictates, will need to be okayed by faire management and/or the subject(s) of the picture.
